- ABV 13.2%
- Closure: Cork
Mostly from a parcel of vines planted in 1969 in Les Seuvrees which borders on to Grand Cru Charmes Chambertin close to the Morey St Denis border.
Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Elevated aromas of violets intermix with red cherries, stemmy whole bunch notes, fresh garden herbs, inky earth and spicy cedar. Showing impressive upfront richness the palate has a mix of red to black cherries infused with notions of violets, earthy fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Inky finish with well judged and slightly dryish yet structured tannins leading into a youthful and energetic conclusion.
Cellar 6-8 years.
