From 2 parcels (Les Drazey and Les Gamaires) below Bonnes Mares planted in the 1950’s and 1960’s totaling 1.48 hectares.
Impressive depth of colour displaying an opaque dark red black tinged core with a bright dark red purple hue. The perfumed nose is led by scents of violets which meld into dark cherry, ripe strawberry, provincial herb, vanillin cedar and spicy earth. Rich red and dark fruits hover over an elegant back drop of fresh herb and violet infusions, earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Excellent concentration with bright acidity and sturdily built tannins providing the framework. Pretty finish.
Cellar 6-8 years.
