2018 Leconfield McLaren Vale Shiraz

Magnificent colour displaying a saturated inky black heart and a very deep black bright dark red hue. Intense freshly crushed blackberry, dark plum and liquorice scents emerge from the glass trailed by vanillin cedar, inky earth and spice notes. Rich opulent blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits have a youthful inky feel with vanillin cedar, subtle dark chocolate and spicy fennel sitting underneath. Superb concentration, power and purity of fruit with ripe sturdy tannins providing great structure. Concludes long with a youthful seductive element to it.
