2018 Kilikanoon Killerman's Run Shiraz

Matured in seasoned French oak hogsheads for 15 months. Pitch black in colour with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackberry and liquorice aromas leap out of the glass interplaying with vanillin cedar, graphite and peppered meats along the way. Juicy blackberry, liquorice and black raspberry fruits flood the mouth with richness. Plush, yet slightly meaty mid palate feel with elements of vanillin cedar, scorched earth and blackpepper creeping through on the finish. Sturdy in it’s structure with the tannins showing velvety appeal. Excellent drive with a long black fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
