2018 Jean-Paul et Charly Thevenet Morgon Tradition

Deep bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Blossoming from the glass is a fragrant bouquet of violets, red cherries, raspberries and strawberries which have a smoky clove like overlay. Incense, subtle earth and fresh herb notes ensue. Light in body the palate has an appealing savouriness to it with a combination of red and sour cherry fruits intermixing with clove, earth and spicy dried herbs. Finishes dry, fresh and elegant with vibrant acidity, refined tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
