2018 Ippolito Liber Pater Ciro Rosso Classico Superiore

Produced from Gaglioppo grapes. Deep dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Subtle morello cherry aromas are intermeshed with ripe red currant, violet, red liquorice, light earth and fragrant herb scents. Medium weighted with an elegant feel the palate is generously fruited with red cherry and red currant flavours which meld into notions of earth, dried herbs and spice. Good freshness on the slightly dryish finish with finely structured tannins and a savoury ripe red fruited aftertaste.
