2018 Hurley Vineyard Hommage Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak (one third new) for 20 months. Semi translucent bright red core with dark red tinged edges and a light red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, ripe strawberries and raspberries mingle with a faint whiff of anise and spicy cedar. Delicious juicy ripe cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavours have a sense of fruit sweetness to them underpinned by anise, a subtle meatiness, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy cedar. Nicely balanced fresh acidity and finely polished tannins. Excellent drive with a long juicy conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
