2018 Howard Park Miamup Chardonnay

Matured for seven months in French oak with regular lees stirring. Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe nectarine and dried honey morph into biscuity oak, citrusy nougat elements and light spice. Richly fruited the palate is decorated with white peach, ripe nectarine, melon and dried honey flavours which impart a gentle creaminess to the textural feel. Elements of citrusy nougat characters, subtle biscuity oak and spice back the fruit. Finishes dry with perfectly judged fresh acidity and a long well rounded aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
