2018 Howard Park Flint Rock Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green to the edges and a watery hue. Elevated aromas of white peaches and dried honey are intermeshed with citrusy nougat characters followed by light biscuity oak and a hint of spice. Rich and round in the mouth with medium to full body weight, the palate is decorated with fleshy white peach and nectarine fruits. Elements of dried honey, citrusy nougat and biscuity oak also chime in. Excellent concentration with balanced acidity lending a sense of freshness to the long finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
