A blend of 67% Shiraz, 17% Grenache, 10% Mataro and 6% Viognier matured in French oak hogsheads, 5% of which were new for a period of 9 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Filling the nostrils are exotic scents of ripe plum, black raspberry, liquorice and blueberry complexed by hints of apricot and spice. Delicious plum, blueberry, dark raspberry and liquorice flavours have a juicy feel across the medium bodied palate. Subtle apricot and spicy pepper elements also reveal themselves on the back half. Silky smooth tannins and bright youthful acidity lead into a long succulent aftertaste. An incredibly moreish blend.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews….
Such good value here, this offers so much young complexity with charcuterie and swirling spices dressing ripe plums and blackberries, thanks to the 67%shiraz, co-fermented with 6% viognier. The 17% grenache and 10% mataro add treble and bass to a substantially fleshy mid-section that is packed with ripe-blackberry flavors. Forget the numbers, it’s all about drinkability. Drink now.
