2018 Hay Shed Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced blackcurrant and subtle liquorice aromas laced with bay leaf show good uplift followed by cedary tobacco, dried herb and spice notes. Medium bodied there’s both ample richness and structure to the red to blackcurrant and mulberry fruits. Sitting underneath are elements of spicy cedar, traces of tobacco and bay leaf. Fresh acidity combines with sturdy fine grained tannins to provide a solid framework. Elegant medium to long conclusion.
