2018 Greenock Creek Casey's Block Shiraz

Impenetrable black core with a very deep dark red black hue. Sailing out of the glass are aromatics of black plum, cassis and liquorice followed by smoky vanillin oak, fennel and spicy pepper notes. Rich and exuberant the palate boasts bold black plum, black and dried cherries, liquorice and smoky vanillin oak flavours which are dense and opulent in their feel. Notions of fennel and spice also chime in. Velvet smooth tannins with a powerful liqueur like aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
