2018 Famille Chasselay Beaujolais is Not Dead

Deep bright dark red colour with a vibrant red hue. Fragrant violet and fresh herb scents blossom out of the glass followed by sour to red cherry notes, earthy incense and spice. Light and fresh with a juicy yet inky feel the palate has a mix of sour to red cherry fruits which intermesh with earth, infusions of incense and spicy fresh herbs. Crunchy acidity underpins the fruit with some inky earth elements lingering on the medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
