$539.88 Dozen
Cellar: Drink now - 6 Years (2021-2027)
ABV: 13.2%
Closure: Stelvin

Elgee Park is situated amidst the protected gentle hills of Merricks North and is considered one of the Peninsula’s warmer sites. Established in 1972 by Baillieu Myer and family, the 4.5 hectare vineyard was the first in a new era of Mornington Peninsula vineyards.
Matured in French oak for 11 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tint to the edges and a watery hue. Elevated scents of white peach, ripe nectarine and dried honey meld into cashew, biscuity oak and spicy nougat notes. Rich, fleshy white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours show both terrific intensity as well as refinement overlaying a back drop of cashew, biscuity nougat characters and spice. Texturally creamy in its feel, it finishes dry with good balance and a long persistent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.2%

Other Reviews….
Hand-picked, wild-fermented, matured for 11 months in French barriques. Gleaming quartz-green hue; lemongrass, citrus and Meyer lemon juice flavours have an umbrella protecting them from the sun. A complex wine with strands pulling in numerous directions. Drink by 2028.
