Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated scents of pear, red apple and dried honey intermingle with quince and hints of spice. Mid weighted the palate shows good richness, a fleshy textural feel and possesses plenty of spice delivering a generous ripe pear, red apple, dried honey and quince flavour profile. Dry spicy finish with a dash of citrus zest and some minerality on the long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Barrel-matured pinot gris from the cool Macedon region. In very good form.
I could go this. It has so much flavour, so much texture, and the length to match. It doesn’t amble around; it faces forward and turns it on. Honeysuckle, pear, crystallised citrus, musk and barrel spice notes. Maybe there’s some warmth but you can’t have Tom and Dick without Harry. Drink 2019-2021.
