2018 Chalmers Nero d'Avola

Bright dark purple red colour with black tinged edges and a purple red hue. Fragrant ripe red cherry and red liquorice aromas infused with incense blossom from the glass trailed by hints of fresh herbs, subtle earth and spice. Light and fresh the palate has juicy red fruit flavours sitting over a back drop of dried herbs, subtle infusions of incense and spice. Finishes with bright acidity, fine grained, seamlessly integrated tannins and a vibrant medium length aftertaste full of freshly crushed raspberries and cherries.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
