2018 Bouchard Pere & Fils La Vignee Bourgogne Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with reflections of green around the edges and a watery hue. Peach and dried honey aromas meld with subtle cashew, citrusy nougat and wet stone notes. Medium bodied the palate is layered with ripe pear and peach fruits which sit over a background of dried honey, faint cashew, citrus and stony mineral elements. There’s a gentle creaminess to the mid palate and the finish has plenty of freshness to it. Medium length aftertaste with a lingering stony mineral character.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
