Benito Ferrara’s most famous wine, Vigna Cicogna Greco di Tufo, is described by wine critic Ian d’Agata as an ‘Italian icon’. Brilliant pale straw colour with tinges of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose dispels aromas of fresh pear, lime and green apple subtlety infused with fresh herbs over a stony back drop. Light and crisp yet possessing a nicely rounded mouthfeel, flavours of fresh pears and limes subtlety infused with fresh herbs are carried by a citrusy wet stone and mineral back drop. Finishes dry with snappy acidity and a long intensely flavoured aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%
