Sixty four percent whole bunch inclusion, wild fermented and matured in French oak for 8 months, 9% of which was new. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light crimson red hue. Fragrant ripe dark raspberry and juicy cherry aromas intermix with liquorice and a faint whiff of dried clove. Spicy earth notes are also evident. Delicious ripe dark raspberry and cherry flavours flood the succulent, light to medium bodied palate. Elements of liquorice, faint dried clove infusions and a touch of earth chime in as well. Finishes spicy and long with vibrant acidity and finely balanced tannins. Spicy aftertaste of juicy dark raspberries, cherries, liquorice, subtle dried clove and pepper.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc. 13.9%

Other reviews….
A pale-mid ruby; way too easy to drink this, as it's on a lighter frame full of bright, juicy fruit, a hint of red licorice and confection, but crisp acidity keeps it lively. It's not complex, ready now and wouldn't last long during lunch. Drink by 2023.
