$539.88 Dozen
Cellar: 6 - 8 Years (2025-2027)
ABV: 13.5%
Closure: Stelvin
A blend of 47% Cabernet Franc, 39% Merlot, 11% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot matured in French oak for 14 months of which 40% was new. Totally opaque black as night core with a bright dark purple red hue. Alluring spicy ripe red currant, violet and mulberry aromas mesh with dusty vanillin cedar, faint tobacco and light bay leaf scents. Very elegant, the light to medium weight palate has a restrained feel to it with red currant and mulberry flavours melding into pencilly vanillin cedar, earth, light tobacco, bay leaf and spice characters. Dryish finish with refined yet very structured tannins and plenty of fresh acidity. Excellent length with a long finessed aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 13.5%

47% Cabernet Franc, 39% Merlot, 11% Malbec, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot. It’s been a little while between drinks on the Emily front round here.
Black and red fruit, floral notes, a little peppermint, toasty spicy oak. Medium-bodied, savoury and juicy at once, fine boned with grainy tannin and pencil flavours, fresh finish with a bit of grip. Very good. In evolution, it feels. Drink 2022-2030.
