Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice are overlaid by charry vanillin oak with dried meat and distinct blackpepper end notes. Full bodied, rich, dense and chewy the palate is awash with luscious black cherry and liquorice fruit infused with charry vanillin oak over a back drop of scorched earth, some meatiness and spicy pepper. Opulent with ripe slightly chewy tannins and a long black cherry, liquorice, charry vanillin oak, light scorched earth and pepper aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews…..
Willow Bridge has a long history of over-delivering in the context of the price/quality equation, this wine typical of that history. It is spectacularly lively and fresh, with fruits, spices and expertly played tannins to sustain its impact over the length of the long palate. Play with the aftertaste and you'll be convinced. Drink by 2037.
