2017 West Cape Howe Chardonnay

Fruit was sourced from the Albany, Mount Barker and Frankland regions to produce this generously flavoured Chardonnay. After fermenting entirely in tank, the wine was briefly matured in French oak.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of fleshy white peaches, tropical fruits and citrus intermix with some dried honey notes. The palate possesses excellent weight and intensity for its price point. Generous ripe white peach, subtle apricot, dried honey and melon flavours are wrapped up in a texturally full and rounded mouthfeel. Clean dry finish with well managed fresh acidity and an aftertaste of ripe peaches, a touch of apricot, dried honey and light spice.
Great value drinking over the next 2-3 years.
