2017 Two Hands Gnarly Dudes Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in French oak of which 15% was new. Impressive inky black dark purple core with a deep bright dark purple hue. The nose is filled with freshly crushed ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas followed by vanillin cedar and a hint of spice. Rich and plush with good body weight, opulent flavours of blackberries, liquorice and fleshy dark plums fill the mouth with an undercard of vanillin cedar and subtle spicy fennel characters. Nicely balanced fresh acidity on the finish. Silky smooth tannins concluding medium to long with luscious blackberries, liquorice, fleshy dark plum, vanillin cedar and spicy fennel.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
