An unoaked blend of old vine 61% Grenache, 28% Mataro and 11% Shiraz sourced from vines ranging in age between 40 and 150 years old. Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Soaring from the glass are freshly crushed red raspberry and ripe cherry scents with hints of liquorice, light earth and spice also present. Light to medium weight a blast of juicy raspberry and ripe cherry flavours run across the palate with some liquorice, vanillin confectionary and light spicy earth nuances ensuing. Bright lively finish with velvet smooth tannins and a long spicy juicy red fruits, liquorice and earth aftertaste.
