2017 Terrazas de Los Andes Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque with a midnight black core and a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe blackcurrants intermingle with hints of liquorice, dried tobacco, black olive, dried herbs, subtle scorched earth and spicy cedar. Medium bodied with tight grainy tannins holding the rich blackcurrant fruit in check, elements of black olive, cigar box, scorched earth and spicy dried herbs are also apparent. Quite dryish and slightly grippy on the finish concluding with a tightly knit medium length aftertaste.
