For the fourth or fifth year in a row… we’ve lost count… this wine has yet again received a 99 point rating from Italian wine critic Luca Maroni.
Dense inky black colour with a bright dark purple black hue. Intense ripe blackberry, black plum and liquorice aromas mix with toasty vanillin oak and spicy cinnamon notes. Similar to previous vintages there’s a prominent toasty vanillin oak theme running through the luscious black fruits which end up completely overwhelming the finish. Spicy cinnamon characters also chime in. Opulent mouthfeel with ripe chewy tannins and a plush aftertaste dominated by toasty vanillin oak and cinnamon.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
