Aged in stainless steel this a rich fruity Barbera d’Alba backed by lively acidity and chalky tannins. Opaque dark red black colour with a bright purple hue. Fragrant inky dark raspberry, ripe plum and liquorice scents drift through the nostrils with earthy incense like notes and spice following on. Medium to full bodied with a rich juicy yet inky mouthfeel the palate features dark raspberry and plum flavours over traces of liquorice, inky earth and spice. Finishes dry with vibrant acidity and chalky tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark raspberries, dark plum, liquorice, inky earth and spice.
