$323.88 Dozen
Cellar: Drink now - 4 Years (2020-2024)
ABV: 14%
Closure: Stelvin

Made in a medium to full bodied style, Tellurian’s Viognier is picked just late enough in the season to show the varieties expressive flavour profile and round textural attributes whilst maintaining freshness. Fermented and matured in seasoned French oak barriques for 6 months with extended lees contact to add weight and texture.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive ring of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of apricot, honeysuckle and peach are trailed by some citrus and light toasty bees wax like notes. Luscious peach, apricot and light honeycomb flavours have a creamy feel across the palate with elements of toasty bees wax and spice sitting underneath. Despite its rich textural qualities, it finishes with good freshness and a long spiced aftertaste. Trophy winner at the Heathcote wine show for best white wine.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
Bright straw. Heady varietal notes of honeysuckle, white and yellow peach complexed by some high-toned toast notes from fermentation in barrels. It's textural and rich, avoiding oiliness. Lemon acidity and toast notes add line and spine to the wine, keeping it all fresh and linear. Drink by 2024.
