2017 Stefano Lubiana Chardonnay

Certified Organic. Brilliant pale straw colour with green tinted edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals nectarine, subtle grapefruit and dried honey aromas over biscuity oak, citrus, light spicy nougat and gun flint notes. Very streamlined yet richly flavoured with nectarine and dried honey characters over a back drop of citrusy nougat elements, roasted almonds and spice. Elegant creamy mid palate feel finishing dry with plenty of fresh acidity. Concludes long and fine.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Exceptional wine. The oak is a mere adjunct to a long streamline of ripe apple, white peach, vanilla, cinnamon and pear gelato, dripping across sensitively appointed oak pillars swallowed by the carnival of flavours and textures. Drink by 2025.
