Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinctive tinge of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of limes, subtle orange and pear are offered up by the nose with fresh herb and flinty mineral notes also evident. Mouthfilling flavours of pears, limes and traces of orange rind are delivered with excellent intensity over a flinty mineral base. Dry finish with zesty acidity and a long spicy fruit loaded aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc. 13.2%

Other Reviews….
Savagnin the variety here of course. A lovely freshness on the bouquet with the varietal character well expressed; nashi pear, apple, almond and flinty slate all amongst the array of aromas, less ripe and perhaps more spicy from this vintage. Shows energy through the palate with the flavours mirroring the bouquet and gently persistent acidity providing the framework. Drink by 2020.
