2017 Singlefile Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

A blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot and 3% Malbec with maturation taking place in French oak barriques, 40% new, for 10 months.Totally opaque dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. Ripe red currant aromas tinged with scents of bay leaf are trailed by some mulberry, cedary tobacco characters and spicy dried herbs. Rich spicy red and blackcurrant flavours generously fill the mouth interacting with mulberry, tobacco, vanillin cedar and dried herb characters. Sturdy yet fine grained tannins. Excellent length with a long spicy red to blackcurrant, mulberry, earthy cedar, tobacco and dried herb aftertaste.
