2017 Sidewood Pinot Noir

This wine underwent partial whole bunch ferment and was matured in French oak for 10 months.
Semi translucent bright dark red core with a light vibrant red hue. Very perfumed the nose leads with violet top notes over ripe cherries and strawberries followed by forest floor characters, subtle tones of anise and spicy herbs. Light in body but with good intensity to the ripe cherry and strawberry fruit, there’s also elements of forest floor, fresh herb infusions and spice present. Supple mid palate finishing with bright acidity. Perfectly integrated tannins. Delicious ripe cherry, strawberry, forest floor and spicy fresh herb aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
