2017 Sentio Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red to brick red hue. Fragrant red cherry and strawberry scents along with light infusions of violet marry into meaty notes, forest floor and spicy cedar. Delicious spicy red to dark cherry and strawberry fruits dial up the intensity as they slip across the supplely textured palate. Also drifting in are dried meats, forest floor, lightly toasted cedar and spicy dried herb nuances. Silky tannins with abundant drive onto the long moreish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

It puts reduction to positive effect and layers nut and spice notes through flavours of forest berries and violets. It's complex, pretty and brooding at once, firmish tannin working to pull it all together. Immaculately well crafted. Drink by 2026.
