2017 Rockbare Tideway Shiraz Roussanne

Impressively coloured with a pitch black core and a deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas jump from the glass over faint hints of honeysuckle, lightly toasted vanillin cedar and pepper. Rich and smooth the opulently textured mid palate possesses lashings of succulent ripe blackberry and liquorice fruit with an undercard of subtlety toasted vanillin cedar and traces of meatiness with a blackpepper infused finish. Velvet smooth tannins with fresh balanced acidity. Excellent concentration and power with a long conclusion of peppered ripe blackberries, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar and spice.
