2017 Riversdale Estate Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Pretty violet top notes meld into ripe dark cherry, strawberry and anise aromatics followed by scents of forest floor, smoky cedar and spicy herbs. Light to medium bodied with excellent richness and drive, the delicious, supplely textured palate sports flavours of ripe dark to black cherries, plums and strawberries over a back drop of smoky anise, forest floor and spice elements. Very smooth, silk like tannins concluding long and moreish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
