2017 Pressing Matters Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Fragrantly scented the nose features a bouquet of violets, dark cherries and ripe strawberries which melds into anise, subtle toasty oak, forest floor and spicy fresh herb notes. Showing good power, the elegant, supplely textured palate is decorated with dark cherry, strawberry and anise flavours which are underscored by forest floor, spicy cedar and fresh herb nuances. There’s ample freshness on the finish with very refined and polished tannins perfectly integrated. Long delicious aftertaste. Trophy winner for best Pinot Noir at the Royal Melbourne Show.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
