2017 Pipers Brook Pinot Gris

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Subtle aromas of pears, citrus and fresh apple emerge followed by some light dried honey notes and spice. Light and dry the palate requires some bottle age to fill out and build on its textural qualities. Vibrant flavours of pears and ripe apples intermix with some light dried honey characters and a hint of spice. Finishes dry with fresh acidity. Aftertaste of pears, apples, light dried honey and spice. A light, very elegant Pinot Gris.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
