Barrel aged in French oak for 12 months (5% new oak, 95% old oak) followed by 6 months in stainless steel.
Aged in French oak for 12 months, 5% new. Seems a little less ripe than recent vintages which is not such a bad thing. Aromas of mulberry and blackcurrant with a touch of green leaf, flavours in the same vein, carried along in a medium-bodied chassis. It's a nice expression of region and variety (and good drinking) at a very moderate price.
