Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. The nose is very perfumed offering up delightful aromatics of violet laced ripe red cherries, dark strawberries and a faint whiff of anise followed by infusions of fresh herbs, light forest floor and spice. Light on its feet, elegant and very fresh, juicy red cherry and strawberry fruits are supported by vibrant acidity. Traces of anise, lightly toasted cedar, forest floor and fresh herb infusions are also present. Fine, polished tannins with a long elegant aftertaste that’s beaming with freshness.

Other Reviews….
The 2017 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a stellar appellation-level wine from Peay. Light on its feet, perfumed and super-expressive, it has much to offer. Sweet red cherry, plum, rose petal, lavender and spice all develop in the glass. This is a very serious, appellation-level wine done entirely from estate fruit. Don't miss it. Drink 2020-2029.
