2017 Patrick Piuze Plateau de la Cornasse Chablis

Brilliant straw colour with a touch of green to the edges and a watery hue. On the nose there’s good intensity to the ripe pear, dried honey and light hazelnut scents with nougat, stony characters and spice ensuing. Texturally rounded and full with good richness, the palate has an expressive flavour profile of ripe pears, dried honey and citrus over a back drop of light hazelnut and some stony elements. Finishes dry with balanced acidity and a lingering aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
