Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green to the edges and a watery hue. Light pear and citrus aromas are overlaid by a faint whiff of dried honey, slate and a subtle oyster shell like minerality. Well rounded in the mouth with a slatey feel and good intensity the palate has flavours of pears and limes intermingling with subtle dried honey, flinty mineral characters and citrus. Finishes dry with lively acidity and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 12%

Other Reviews…..
The 2017 Chablis Terroir de Chichée has a gorgeous bouquet with beeswax, honeysuckle and almond flakes. This is beautifully defined. The palate is fresh and vibrant, hints of lemongrass develop towards the final third that conveys superb energy and precision. Highly recommended. Drink 2019-2026.

Neal Martin – Vinous

The 2017 Chablis Terroir de Chichée is one of the highlights of Piuze's AOC bottlings, offering up classy aromas of citrus zest, white flowers and pastry cream. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, pure and elegantly glossy, with wonderful focus and structural tension, built around tangy acids. Drink 2018-2028.
