2017 Matteo Correggia Roero

A 100% Nebbiolo that has all of varieties classic floral aromatics, vibrant red fruits and lively acidity traits but is both more affordable and approachable on release than its Barolo and Barbaresco neighbours.

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Fragrant rose petal, red and dried cherry aromas evolve from the glass with an overlay of fresh herbs, light earth and spice. Delicious bright red cherry fruit fills the medium bodied palate with elements of earth, fresh herbs, subtle leather and spice sitting underneath. Bright acidity leads into a dry fresh finish with some nice grip from the tannins. Very savoury medium to long aftertaste.
