2017 Leeuwin Estate Prelude Vineyards Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts. Elevated white peach and ripe nectarine aromas draped with notions of dried honey are trailed by citrus, nougat and spice notes. Medium to full bodied with ample richness and beautifully rounded textural qualities, the palate is armed with fleshy white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours which meld into citrus, nougat, traces of cashew and light mineral elements. Elegantly creamed yet finishing fresh it concludes with a long textured aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
