2017 Lambrook Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Showing good intensity is a bouquet of ripe peaches, nectarines and dried honey which meld into subtlety toasted oak, cashew, nougat and spice. Medium bodied with a lightly creamed mouthfeel, the palate sees fresh peach and nectarine flavours dominate over a background of biscuity oak, light toast, dried honey and citrusy nougat characters. Finishes dry with fresh acidity and good length. Spicy ripe peach, nectarine, lightly toasted oak, dried honey and citrusy nougat aftertaste.
