2017 Karrawatta Dairy Block Shiraz

Aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Fragrant aromas of dark plums, dark cherries and liquorice infused with smoked meats and hints of dried clove overlay a subtle earthy cedar and pepper component. Medium to full bodied with a fleshy textural feel, rich spicy dark cherry and liquorice flavours infused with dried clove are underpinned by some meatiness, light smoky cedar and pepper characters. Velvet smooth tannins finishing long and savoury with an aftertaste infused with meaty clove like characters.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
