2017 Karrawatta Ace of Trumps Shiraz

Matured in new and seasoned French oak barriques for 16 months. Magnificent colour featuring a saturated inky black core and a very deep dark red black hue. Heady aromas of blackberry, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak mix with dark plum and spicy pepper. Rich, dense and opulent, the full bodied palate is soaked with lavish black cherry, blackberry and liquorice fruit which is supported by elements of lightly toasted vanillin cedar, traces of spicy earth and blackpepper. Sturdily built tannins provide muscle and structure. Excellent power and concentration with a long spicy black fruit and blackpepper aftertaste.
