2017 Jakcals Run Pinot Noir

Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Streaming out of the glass are ripe dark cherry, plum and strawberry scents with anise, forest floor and vanillin cedar ensuing. Light to medium bodied the palate is flooded with succulent ripe dark cherry and plum fruit. Some anise, forest floor, well integrated toasty oak and spice are also present. Very supple textural feel with velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power with a long juicy dark fruited aftertaste.
Delicious drinking over the next 3-4 years.
