2017 Izway Mataro

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted dark plum and liquorice aromas sit over some vanillin cedar, scorched earth and spicy herb notes. Medium weight with a plush mouthfeel and velvety tannins the palate features a flavour profile of spiced dark plums and liquorice with an undercard of vanillin cedar, lightly scorched earth and dried herbs flowing on to a medium to long finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
