Fruit for this delicious Grenache was sourced from two vineyards, both located on the western ridge of the Barossa. The Materne Vineyard is planted on the famous clays of Greenock and the Radford Vineyard is in the equally revered region of Seppeltsfield. Maturation took place in a large oak Foudre for 11 months.

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Ripe raspberry and dark cherry aromas are overlaid with subtle clove and other dried herb notes followed by some liquorice and light pepper. Light to medium bodied and very moreish, rich succulent dark raspberry and dark cherry flavours flood the mouth with some liquorice, subtle dried herbs and light earth also evident. Finishes with a burst of spice, well balanced acidity and silky tannins. Excellent concentration and power with a long spicy dark raspberry, dark cherry, liquorice, dried herb and light earth conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
