Aged in French oak barriques. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light brick red hue. Fragrant ripe cherry scents are overlaid by dried clove with earthy cedar and spicy dried herb notes also evident. Light in body, bright red fruits laced with dried herbs and earth decorate the palate with spicy clove characters also evident. Finishes slightly bitter with dryish tannins, lively acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
